    Default Finally a nice shellcracker

Finally caught a "citation" shellcracker today at the lake near were I live. It was 11" long. Caught it on a worm fished n the bottom in about 5 FOW. I released it after a few pictures. Also caught 4 keeper crappie, 1 small bass, 1 catfish and about 7 or 8 smaller crackers and bream. Not bad for a couple of hours from shore.

And check out this snake just sticking his head up through the dock.

I think the hat has something to do with my luck. This snake (really any snake to me) was pretty scary because he kept sicking his head up and down and looking around and was on the boardwalk where allot of people with kids and dogs walk. It was not a huge snake but I do think it was a copperhead. He was well protected where it was hiding and no way for me to get too close without it ducking back under the boardwalk. Now I look for it every time I fish there.
