    Default Blackwater 1-19


    Went to the river about 2 oclock, nice day! did a catfishing trip with a buddy, He caught 2 catfish about a lb each. I caught this here river monster. I mean just look at my face.. Ive caught my fair share of bowfin and still get sqeemish putting them in the boat. Caught em in 38 FOW right on the bottom with a piece of cut bream.

    No sure about the length... id say 26-28 range, but weight just short of 7 LBS. He didnt even fight until he saw the boat... like pulling a log up from the bottom.

    i tell ya pp in the heat of the summer. i love coming down to bwr. and throwing a buzzbait around the cypress and watching them bf smash it. they have a top water hit that is unreal. good goly they hit it so hard they knock the arm sideways.
