Tim and I returned to the river today. Surprisingly, we were met with a bunch of ice, but not thick. By the time we were almost at the park it was clear. We caught a good mixed bag of about everything the river offers, except pickeral. Nice day. We kept 17 including a 1.25 lb. crappie and 1.25 lb. YP. Wind was a bit of a pain at times but we stuck with it. We certainly didn't catch a ton but the quality was there. The warmest water I found was 38.3.

Thanks for the report. I hope to give it a try this weekend but it looks like we have more cold nights coming so the river will probably freeze over again.
