A couple of trucks including mine had tires slashed there many years ago but that is the only time I've had anything happen and haven't heard of any others. Welcome aboard to both of you. Glad to have you.

I think its that NC vs VA thing. Most stories seem to be against VA'ians. Probably due to the fact that its limited parking, and "come heres" taking up half of the spots.

Now come on, radar, you know those of us living in god's country would hold no ill will towards a bunch of north of the border people taking up all our parking. HA HA HA. Sorry, I just had to say it since I live here in NC but work in VA every day.
all i know is i have been launching there forever and i have never had a problem. plus i know a lot of people that fish down there. maybe it's because i have a duke sticker on my trailer:rolleyes: also there is another ramp on that same road a little further down the road. now do not knock them N/C boys. all my kin folks are from that wonderful state. tite lines JIM.B
Ok I got too get in on this. As a "reformed yankee" I live not far from IT. I too have heard them tell of not so nice things happin at IT. But as they say one bad apple and everybody thinks us currituck boys are bad. I like the ramp at Coinjock but very shallow. I know at few of you run down some of the "Other creeks" here in Currituck. Some guy who has some odd hats. And they have some very nice free ramps.

The ramp is always iced up, the creek has hidden stumps and logs that will tear your lower unit up, they will steal you blind or mess up your truck and there are no fish in that river. Also there are lions ,tigers and bears roaming the banks waiting to gobble up any sorebacks from Virginia. This I know to be true!!!!!
