Beetle spin ?
Hint...Like I said this was a family owned and operated company from 1899 until 2006 when they sold out to a major company ... so their brand name and products are still being made and sold today.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Well guys... CoBowkill and fiveeyes got it right, it was Hildebrandt Company in Logansport, Ind.
It was family owned from 1899 untill 2006 when it was sold to Yakima Baits.
Interesting story.....Mr. "Big John " Hildebrandt was sitting at his desk in 1893 and formed a piece of wire for a spinner shank and then tapped out a spinner blade out of a silver dime...put them together and put in a tub of water and it worked...he made many like that for his friends. Business grew and a small factory was started in 1899. He had a dream of some day having a big factory building. After his death his son took over and as the business grew the big factory became a reality.
I hope you enjoyed todays Trivia...I know I did...see you next Monday morning. Below is a picture of a Hildebrandt spinner.
