Another hint.... This bait was a top water and came in 6 different color patterns....It also had a very much different shaped mouth than other top water baits.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

How about the Glutton Dibbler.

Well guys some good guesses but gaspumper got it right. The lure was the Glutton Dibbler and the man that designed it was Clyde E. Key from Arkadelphia, Arkansas. It was produced in the late 40's. It was a great looking lure but just did not go over...maybe bad marketing and promotion, I don't know.
