L&S is probably right unless he’s talking about a Lemaster lure before L&S existed

Hint......like I said .....this company was well known for their fishing rods. They made steel ones at first and later made them out of fiberglass.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

More than likely it’s Horton but I do not know the name of the lure. I know Horton made rods and bows but I know nothing about a lure.

Well guys...lots of good guesses today for sure. In the late 40's Lewis Adam and A. Johnson founded Orchard Industries in Detroit, Michigan. They were a fishing rod manufacturer making steel rods and then later fiberglass rods...This is what they are more noted for, the were called The Action Rod. They did however in the early 50's mfg three fishing lures and the one that stands out the most is the Slippery Slim.
I hope you enjoyed todays trivia, I know I did...see you next Monday morning.
