Good job. Some good eats. Thanks for sharing.
Finally found a window of opportunity to wet a line. Earlier in the week the weather didn’t look very good for today but that changed as the week went on. I started out about 6:30 this morning. A little chilly, air temp was 36. Water temp was 55. The fishing wasn’t real great but I ended up catching quite a few Crappie. Mostly all females which I released. Hooked two males which went into the cooler. Also added a White Perch and a Pumpkinseed Sunfish to the cooler.
Good first trip. It wasn’t without its challenges. Things don’t usually go flawlessly my first time out but next time should be a little smoother. Hopefully in a week and a half or so I can get back out as the spawn is starting to get underway.

That's a good 1st trip in anybody's book. That's a nice 'seed at nearly 9"; love the fight the big sunnies give. You did way better on crappie than I did on my 1st trip. Happy to hear you got out finally.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
Well done Sir, that definitely was a chilly start, but then again you are in Maine so is that t-shirt yet for you guys? lol. 6lb and I have had our fair share of comedy of errors on the early trips (all my fault) out of gas, dead batteries etc.
Very nice fish caught! Hopefully you can get the opportunity to get out more in the near future. Thanks for sharing with us.
