Default Good trip on the new water, 8-29

I called 870 this afternoon to see if he was wishin' to go fishin' but he had other plans so I made another solo trip to the water I had fished on my last trip. Air temp at 78 and the water temp was 75 when I launched and got set up at 4:45 (I bailed from work a bit early!)
I knew there'd be power boats and skiers and I was also dealing with a steady wind from the SE. I had my patience hat on and made my way out toward the opposite shore, across a good section of deep water at a bit over 20'. I went over a lot of schools that looked like this tonight:

The first few I didn't score on with my 1/16 oz. jig heads. I then realized that they were not real deep but up around the 12-13' depth and I may have been trolling under them. I switched over to 1/32 oz. and soon got some fish in the boat. If you look at the top of the screen on the left side, you can see the dark sonar shadow way off to the left of the actual white returns; that tells us that they are up in the water column; same thing on the group on the bottom left and the bottom right. The right is harder to see but the shadow is there. It seemed as though most of those long lines of fish were bluegills as I caught a bunch like this guy. It seems the perch and bluegill in this pond are not as big as in some of the other waters I fish. 7" or so seems to be a big 'gill here

I also broke the crappie skunk from my last trip with I think 5 crappie from 8" up to about 11".

I was also lucky enough to have a couple of double hookups, one of which produced this nice bass of 15" along with a nice 'gill of about 7". That bass put up a heck of a fight but he was hooked good; he wasn't getting off.

I left them biting at 7:20 as I had 2 poles with tangled lines and the wind was picking up ahead of the front that's coming. Landed some perch as well, not big at 8-9", I scored perhaps half a dozen or so. The clicking meter of truth tells me 19 fish got released tonight; I didn't think it was that many but I had a lot going on and the clicker came in handy.

Edit to add: will a Mod please delete the extra photo at the bottom of this post? I rotated the picture and placed it in the post but can't get rid of the original sideways one, thanks in advance.

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
