Ten fish ain't bad at all. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
I went out on the 18th, it was nice during the day and I was hoping it would last into the night. It didn’t.
The temp dropped into the 40’s, it rained, sometimes hard. I lasted until 8:30 when I headed for the ramp.
I tried 4 spots, nothing at all at the first 3, I caught 10 at the 4th. 35’ of water, the water temp is just under 50 degrees, the fish I caught were 12-15 feet down but there weren’t very many of them. At first they were biting pretty well but then just shut off. I was too wet and cold to take pictures. I don’t really know enough about crappies to know where they should be. The lake is small, drops off quickly and most of it is 35’ with very little structure.
I ordered some wax worms, I’m going to try a small tungsten jig w/a waxworm if I go out this week.

10 fish will make a nice mess to eat
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Sounds like miserable conditions. Ten fish is a good catch though. Good job.

No skunk is good, 10 fish is great! I predict a fish fry in your future.......
hit the wrong button....
Meant to add, I'm sure you're searching until you find some before dropping anchor and fishing. The crappie in the water I've been fishing are in some different spots now than when I was fishing them a month or more earlier. Don't know if you can call it a pattern but they aren't where they were, for sure.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
Great results for less than favorable conditions. Keep it up. Tight lines.
