Oh, yea, those will do; nice bunch of fish there! That's an early start for sure but it certainly paid off in a big way. I hope you get another day in the near future to get after 'em again.
I haven't been fishing in just about a month. I started a new job about three weeks ago and have been taking some time to adjust. Now that I am settling I decided it was time to get back on the water. I had today off and was on the water by 4:45. Caught my first fish a little after 5 and had pretty steady action all morning until I packed up around 10. Caught a bunch of Crappie and a few White Perch.
My fishing buddy is real busy on his farm and can't get away for a while so he asked me if I got into them good if I would bring him some. I caught 22 keepers between 10 and 12 or so inches. Caught a lot of smaller ones that I released. I dropped him off 11 of them and I brought home the other 11.
The usual Bobby Garland Baby Shad colors worked well. MoGlo Screamer and Twilight. Those two work almost everywhere I fish. Water temp was between 75 and 79 degrees. The fish were hiding under floating docks and under boats that were on a mooring mostly. Especially the bigger ones. Great to be back at it.

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
Great fish especially for a short trip. Keep up the great fishing. Tight lines.
Very nice bunch of fish!
