Nice! Great job wish I would have had the same luck today but only came away with one out at webster lake.
This morning I was on the lake at 5am hoping to finally get enough fish for a meal. My first 3 trips were to a pond that I had never fished open water. It was a struggle even though water temps were improving. Today I went to my trusty pond that has never let me down. The fish run a little smaller there than some of my other spots but much more plentiful.
Air temp was in the low 40's and the water temp was 48 in my first three spots I tried. Not a bite for the first two and a half hours. Then I moved into a spot I had never fished but as I was looking for warmer water I came upon a nice little weed bed in about 6 feet of water and a water temp of about 49.5 degrees. Caught a few fish there. Found another spot similar in make up and temp a couple of hours later and did even better.
Came home with 8 small 10 inch males. Let a few smaller ones go and all the females were released. Caught a few White Perch and Yellow perch also to add to the meal. Felt good to finally get into some fish again and have an active bite going on. It's fish fry time!

Looks like a good day, with the below average temps and poor weather. Glad you were able to figure them out.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
Great outing. Wonderful results. Keep up the great work. Tight lines to you.
Nice work. That will be a great meal.
Looks like a very successful trip!
