As you say, sure was a good day to get out to wet a line, even if they didn't cooperate fully. No skunk in the boat so you could have done worse.
Jim & I hit the Q this morning for a few hours. Air temp was 63 degrees with the water consistently at 82. This is what the morning started out like:
Beautiful day. Breeze was very night however, which didn't help much, from my perspective. Marked lots of fish and bait at various depths:
They were there, but regardless of what we presented - curly tails, Road Runners, straight tails or Sliders.....nothing really "turned 'em on". Guess that's why they call it fishing and not "catching"!
