We've been hitting them with less frequency this summer - not sure why? However, I cannot wait for the first frost! That's when they'll be moving and schooling tighter, outside the weeds, instead of in them. Tomorrow morning (9/6/13) we're suppose to "maybe" get a frost. I hope so!

Any luck off shore ? What kind of jig's do you use? My son caught a nice 1 ponder with a popper {bass popper} of shore.

Here in the western end of the state, the ice has just left about 2 weeks ago. Water is still very cold, but I suspect things will pick up shortly.

How's the bite? Anyone fishing Glen Charlie Pond? I went Mother's day and got a few from the kayak. Would like to get on there with the tin can soon.
