    Default Memorial day weekend Rayburn

    Friday morning-29 keepers
    Sat morning---24 keepers
    Sun morning---16 keepers
    mon morning---16 keepers

All fish were caught in 20-24 ft , fishing depth was 8-10 ft. It was slow fishing. Had to hit a lot of stumps. I guess some other fisherman were watching us from a distance because sunday morning we watched a boat hit everyone of our brush piles a head of us and same boat monday morning. i guess that is part of fishing. We are careful not to fish our brush piles with other boats close. But we had plan to put in new ones this coming week, so everything is good. Monday morning we did have a bass boat blast right up to the stump next to us and started fishing and it was no problem except he came in on full plane and shut down right beside us. His wake gave us a real ride for a few seconds. We just untied and moved on. The sad part is they were crappie fisherman. Good luck to everyone.

Did you go out by yourself or did you have a guide? What a haul!

I get that myself, that's why I don't fish the weekends or holidays. To many lurking in the water and to dang many inconsiderate boaters. Glad you made a good haul anyway and didn't get hurt by the storms that did come over. Ferdi aka Fred

Hey EXPLORE TEXAS, It was me and a buddy and our wifes on a pontoon boat. Me and my buddy are mostly deck hands. We hand out minnows and put fish in the livewell. If the girls really get on them we will put a hook in the water. We kinda just sit back and drink our cold beverage and watch the girls. It dont get know better. Good luck to everyone!! Hey fred, we are within a half of mile of my buddies lake front property. I have my travel trailer there for the summer ,so we manage to dodge the storms all weekend.
