I am in Abilene. Lived in the oil patch towns of Denver City, Seminole, Plains growing up for Shell Oil Company. Went to Texas Tech at Lubbock as did my wife who is from Levelland. Worked for ARCO Oil and Gas all over West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Son was an All State Football player for Odessa Permian.
Fish many different lakes and small nonlisted waters in the Abilene area and Wichita Falls area since I moved. I miss the oil patch, but love being closer to alot of different lakes.
If you are in the area, give me a holler and we can discuss fishing over lunch.
Good Fishing,

Another East Texas boy here. I'm not far from Fork but I don't bass fish much so I don't think I would be any help over there. LOP and Lake Gilmer is where I fish mostly. I have heard good things about the Skeeter tournament. You will have a good time....:D

From the windy city of Amarillo but wanting to move to SE Texas.I like areas that have lakes nearby that hold water, unlike here,so my fishing interest around here is diminished drastically.I have fished Fork 10-12 years ago but that is way too long ago to be of any help.Good luck.
