    Granger lake is near Austin and is an awesome crappie lake. Get with Tommy Tidwell. He guides there, is reasonable, and will put you on fish.

    East texas offers great scenary as well as good fishing. You can't go wrong with Lake o the pines.

    Got to go with Sam Rayburn although I got chased off the lake this past Saturday with all of the Thunderstorms and lighting. Fished out of jackson Hill.
