Son & I went afternoon past Saturday, mainly to run the boat. Fished a couple hrs in the Bayou. Still muddier than I like but did catch 3 & lost a couple on jigs.

    Default Lake Houston Crappie

I gave it a try on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I could not convince them to bite so I went chasing White's. Still a little early on the White's. Sunday managed 22 keepers with 20-30 undersized. Caught them all on jigs, color didn't seem to matter. They all came from the river channel 25-30' suspended around 12-15'. Hope this helps you go and catch some. I'm gonna try again later this week.

Lake Houston is not known for it Crappie fishing or well......any other fishing. But if you give it enough tries you can usually find enough to make a good mess.
And I never get tired of hearing (and seeing) other peoples good fortune! Keep'em comin'
