I heard about a big one caught on Conroe too. There was a big one caught from Luces last week, but I don't know the size. A Game warden actually told me about the Conroe and Houston crappie, so I know it happened. Maybe TPWD website has some info. on it. I will start digging:D

Well, I think BJ's will get busier now. Not because of the fish in the area but, Lake Houston Marina went up to $10 to launch.

Darn it! 10 bucks is nearly a yearly pass on Conroe from the NF launches. Duessen is so far south, if the wind gets up, it is nasty if you have to travel from luces, etc... BJ's is a nice ramp, but the ramp could use some improvements, and maybe charge a buck more for supplemental repair costs. 10 bucks
