    Default Need some info on Lake Fork


    I do not know anything about the Lake but my step daughter is moving to the area and We will be going there soon. How is the crappie fishing? Being from MO I am not sure how the February fishing is there, any information appreciated.

    It is good right now and will really break loose from mid feburary thru the spring .
    if your new to the lake start with the pileings on the main lake bridges
    hwy 515 and 514 by rainswood
    then look for the humps and things along the main river channel.
    till they hit the shallows in the spring.

    Half of MO will still be here in Feb, you will feel at home. Its a great crappie lake, but lately I've been going to Palestine. Slow troll the S end with minnows or jigs if the winds calm and stack em up.
