Default Water Temp in Johnson's Cove

Went to Johnson's Cove again last Saturday and did pretty well for all the wind. Ended up keeping 20 nice sized ones with four being 14" range. Most had moved from 15-16' of water back in to 13-14'.

Water temp at my trolling motor sensor was 59.5 in the morning and 61.5 early afternoon.

Will post a picture of my catch when I get to the house.

    Hey Tim and Magician,
Last friday night it was 61 degrees in the back 1/3 of the coves. We caught 28 that with one bag of ice, the 44 quart ice chest was plum full. All of them giants! We fished from 6:30 to 10 pm but didn't get a bite the last half hour. I'll be camped at huricane creek Thursday and friday night in a large motorhome if you want to stop by. Percher, (Don)

    Hey Tim and Magician,
The water was 61 degrees Friday night in the back 1/3 if the northern coves on LOP. We caught 28 from 6:30 to 10 pm and had 28 along with one small bag of ice that filled a 44 quart cooler. Hard to believe how big they were! Not a bite the last half hour though and too windy to go back Sat night. I plan to camp at Huricane creek Thrus. Friday, and maybe Sat so dtop by the big green motorhome if yall get a chance. I Check in with Will Bill thursday afternoon for advice, bait, and BBQ. Good luck, Percher, (Don)
