That fish in the picture ain’t a 2 lber , that’s a fact , wasting time and gas money is my bet over there , the fisheries report looked pretty sad on crappie in there to me…just saying

@Crappie Brother Ketchn I bet Solely on me. If there is interest in making some UnLikeU Gas Money, throw out a caveat for me to entertain. By all means lay down the gauntlet. Sounds like Clean Crappie Dot Com Fun to me.


@Ketchn I told my buddy I don't like the layout of this lake for Crappie because it has too much untouched timber that is not fishable yet where fish can live without coming out to the main lake so they can be fished. The Timber is on the West Side of Hwy 897. To me its a darn O.H. Ivey where you aren't getting in there without a Air Boat at least for now. Monday I'll find out myself.

You can take my Gas Money Ketchn by betting me that I don't catch a 1.75lb or bigger Crappie. I'm your Huckle Bearer...

best save your gas money bro , bet it is not so easy with a hundred inches of rain on it this weekend , just saying

That lake did not receive and crappie stockings. It is clear that lake main objective is to provide water to the DFW and to sale lake lots at high prices. They only catered to the bass fisherman based on the stocking data I have seen. Every crappie I have seen come out the lake so far is 10-12 inches. It may turnout to be a great crappie lake but that was clearly not the intentions of the builders of the lake.
