Toledo Bend
I'm planning to fish Toledo Bend the first part of next week. I've haven't fished it in 40 years and I've never crappie fished it. I plan to launch near the Pendleton Bridge and any general pointers will be appreciated.

no clue , but to be sure they are up on the bank unless this rain drives them off , likely pretty clear when you get there is my guess , and to be very sure , some fish will be out deeper waiting to go in short water too .
never run that far east is me , but the fish I seen coming from over there are in full spawn mode ....or were ....just saying

Should be plenty of fish suspended in deeper water that’s near shore and some should be shallow if you can find them.

Wind has been bad and the crappie I have found here have been in 12’ of water ever since they dropped the lake 2’! Sorry I didn’t see this before you came!
