Thread: a few fish reports ....

still staged up and spawning in lots of places , some are popping full of eggs , some not so much .
Benbrook has them in really short water , getting very busy , lake worth has them almost done and moving away from the short water , mineral wells fish are in midrange waters , with some on the bank , the local small private stuff is all done and to be sure the fish are in various modes on the bite , lots of spots have herds of fry and it IS time to think about downsizing !
hopefully some of ya"ll get out after them this weekend , looks like I won't be one of the weekenders myself , other things on my schedule , but to be sure it is possible to go find a nice fish fry right now , right off the bank ....
shad are up spawning in multiple locations and EVERYTHING is tight to the bank eating on them and spawning as well ....breakfast in bed if you will ...
IT is On like donkey KONG in lots of spots , go get ya sum KABOOM !
found some really nice post spawn fish this week and in that spot not just a few , it was a hammer festival that lunch break at that spot ....just saying ....
and yes KABOOM is the word too ....

Maybe lots of little ones to grow up for fishing in the future
