    Default Toledo Bend Questions???

Never fished TB but thinking about a trip down between Christmas and New years in a couple of weeks. Maybe 4 days of fishing, but only if the weather is decent. Looking for a cabin and a general area? And what to expect??

Wife is coming with me so can't be too rustic....

I usually chase crappie with LiveScope.....

Holly park, and it’s right around the corner from the chicken coop, but the water may not be cold enough yet for the coop to really produce, when the water gets below 50 degrees the coop catches fire

Thanks, I will be there fishing the 26th, 27th & 29th. But from looking at the weather forcast, not looking like below 50 degree water for sure.

If not there’s a lot of standing timber along the river channel, lots of big crappie suspended along there, even better if you have livescope, I fish that area year round, Holly park has a restaurant, houses, trailers and apartments plus RV spots available and they sale bait, great bunch of folks

the creek channels are where its at on most lakes right now east of dfw , they are slaughtering them in 40 to 50 foot of water at Fork as I type along the edges of the old river channel in the hidden timber .
