Thread: TOTALLY DONE

at the lake i hit yesterday
the fish are way past done dropping eggs
the males have ZERO color
and most of the fish look pretty tired
of course elsewhere they still haven't done it
amazing the amount of variance in the spawn every year
keep in mid they eat 24 7 365 and just because they are not spawning means diddly
it was slack line festival at the spot i hit in ft worth
good times for sure
a big number of toad fish got to play lets go ketchn on my lunch break

Wish they were done here so the April Pros will go home and forget about them lol

That's a NICE'UN.....
That's crazy they are done there while down south I'm still catchn males that are putting a hurt'n on anything that get in their face and they are suited up......
I will say the males do seem to not be as aggressive this year some of the time and then like on a switch nothing can get close to them.....

i aint seen a good colored up one in a week or so ,maybe longer
i am sure there are some somewhere up here but i aint stumbled on them lately
ketched a few males the other day that had nothing going on when i boated them
and they turned in the livewell , but they didnt get real dark ,just noticeably male

Still catching slabs on Palestine with eggs
