    the bank bite is really good right now in the dfw area .
    big slabs are within casting distance at most lakes as i type .
    go git ya sum by golly , while the gittin iz good
    the reports are coming in by the truckloads
    and the stringers are heavy
    right before dark and shortly there after specifically
    KABOOM is the word yawl

    Not on Joe Pool Lake. I know you talked with one person who said he did good in the creeks but I talked with several who said they found nothing on the lake when they took their boats out yesterday.

    I also talked with several yesterday who fish the fishing barge and marina slips daily. They are not catching many. Most are only catching 3-4 keepers fishing 8 hours or more. One said he caught 17 keepers Sunday, fishing from noon till midnight. I fished with him last night and he only caught two keepers. He said Sunday was much better and it may have been since I didn't fish Sunday. It is amazing how the days you don't fish were great fishing days.

    There were only five people fishing the rocks behind the slips three of the five left at 8:30. One caught nothing, the other two caught two each.

    I fished from 3 pm till 10 last night. I caught 12 fish in my slips from 3-5:30 yesterday, caught 12 but only a couple of keepers. I fished the rocks behind my slips from 5:30 till 10, only caught 5 crappie, three were keepers.
