    Default Fish on the move

A lot less fish in deep water today. Caught 5, but was a long day to bag em. Regardless, feeling blessed to have some fish for dinner. Now, it seems the hunt begins. What areas and techniques do you guys focus in on during pre spawn? Water temp 48-49Name: IMG_9437.jpg

I’ve been fishing Navarro Mills since the middle of November and they haven’t moved off of brush and timber. Water temp was 47 yesterday. Any where fron 15-22’. I’ve fished it about 10 times now and the first outing is the only one I didn’t catch what would have been a limit.

give it some time , when the water gets to low 50 range they will REALLY scatter .
it can be a grind in the prespawn to get on a solid pattern for sure.
and often times they are there one day and then gone the next .
if you know where they spawn and where they winter ,spots in between are where to look .

Time to check the creek channel’s for pre spawn staging.
The bite should get more aggressive.
12-16 ft ledges right off deeper water.
