Those deep boys don’t go back down very well! Did the same thing to a big striper years ago. Broke off at the boat but couldn’t swim back down. He ate good!

Had a crappie snap the bottom jig when slinging him in the boat. I had horsed him up up from 30-35 fow. I went to bow to examine my single remaining jig and to my surprise, ol boy was stunned on the surface next to my boat. Presumably from the pressure difference. He may have gotten lucky, but I was luckier today and netted him! Hope everyone caught a fish this weekend.

i seen a boy pull up a real monster out of 35 fow one time and the jig pulled out right when it hit the top
dead of winter and cold as heck and that guy about went swimming to grab that fish as it laid there looking bewildered
looks like you are on them now my friend .....and yes i got to rip lips as well
