    Default Save Your Boat


    Just a little cheap insurance buy a small safety chain to go from the trailer to the hook eye on the front of your boat . I have seen to many winch straps and cables break going down the road and the wind will catch the bow of the boat and lift it off the trailer

    Don't most trailers come with that chain? I don't think that I have seen a boat trailer without one of those in years, many years.

    I bought a new G3 175pf in October of last year and it DID come with a safety chain to hook onto the front..

    thats great to hear. a great boat saver i have seen a few slideing down the highway that didnt have them on it.

    yes, I agree most oder trailers and most homemade ones do not have the chain. The trailer that the G3 is on has one, here is a closer look at it.

    yer killin me man, with that 4 hour thing........ where you at?

    me and the dog, couple good music CD's, I'm there in no time. I've done alot of mind cleansing on those trips to and from......

    Im not far from santa fe here in laporte i have made that trip many times to toledo and rayburn.

    well the chain is a good tip for the many trailers out there that dont have one on it.
