Yesterday I went back to Arrowhead after a week of absence. I found some interesting things. Water was slightly cooler after that weekend cold front. That cold front didn't stop another wave of fish from storming my usual haunts. Lots of fish in 3.5' to 1". As the day wore on the bite got better. I caught about 40 fish. Keeping a basket full for an Easter dinner delight. As I expected this wave of fish brought lots of shorty's with it. That's ok, they're still fun to catch. Usually the spawning waves in my area are long and drawn out. Not this year. They are coming fast and furious. As I probed the shallows I found the fry from the previous wave. They were taking sanctuary in 6" . It was a good time. Everyone stay safe out there, and yall to piercing those lips.Name: 20190402_154356.jpg
