Thread: Toledo Bend

Well I don't have a lot of feedback, but know a guy that is a good crappie fisherman and yesterday fished all day from 4' to 12' and only caught 5 small bass and 0 crappie so think they are not in yet here. If anyone else has other info on other parts of the lake I sure would like to hear from them.

When thing are right it's one hell of a crappie and bass lake! All it take for things to be right in spring is no floods and a normal lake level with Hydrilla. The last 3 years have not been right really for the crappie. Two and three years ago the big bass were on fire. I believe the last great year was two year ago when they had over 150 bass caught that year and turned back live so they got in the lunker program and got mounts of their fish.
