ran into 2 young ladies at the lake that work with tpw
they were taking water samples .
we had us an interesting conversation that went into depth on zebra mussels
seems us fisher folks are getting a fair amount of blame according to "scientific" studies
said boats docked in slips were of major concern when moved along with wake boats and fisher people
told me turtles and birds didn't have much chance of spreading them
and told me big blues that eat them often don't kill them and they come out the other end ok
seems they don't crush them all when they eat them.
there was a lot more to it ...but that's some of the chat .
gave me a fish ruler
a hand towel to wipe a boat
a coozie
and a handbook …….
pays to be friendly to folks for sure ….
