The high & flooding waters sure has hurt us here on Toledo Bend! This is now three years in a row for use to have floods and really high water so they have to open the flood gates. The crappie really do not like the lake coming up several feet fast and then let water out fast! It just sucks!

it has but I was up in the Birch White oak area and have seen fish staging. I caught fish on docks in 2-3' of water and in trees in 12-15'. minnows out produced jigs.

I was there last year about this time, we couldn't buy a bite on the brush or drop off's. So we tied on a jig and drifted right outside the timber and ended up catching a few good fish. May be worth a try in a pinch
