you may want to look at the tpw site they have info on what lakes they recommend not to eat fish from.
I do not know the lake at all, but you have been given good advice on checking with Texas Parks and Wildlife.

If TPW set them they will tell you where and if the fish ain’t edible they will tell you that as well

Here is this also. It has locations of the ones that the feds have put out. As far as not being able to eat the fish that come out of that lake, Im not sure.
My apologies for being so blunt on my last reply. I have fished town lake( lady bird lake) for many years. I stopped years ago when I noticed small sores on most of the bass I caught, and small worms imbedded in the meat of the fish. Also,most of the brush piles have flooded away from lake Austin. The large boulders are the only structures left. Old,old Austin,Texas resident.

This happens with allot of city impounded lakes. There is to much trash water going in. Anytime Barton Springs gets high the trash flows in.
As for structure head to the bridges and the new docks placed there. I like the are of the old power generation area..
I second not eating the fish. Think of it as your big pond but all the city's waste feeds into it. Would you eat it?
