Nice meeting you today Speck! I think the bite was not on with the water warming from 50 last week to 54 today. Those pesky white perch like to move ever so closer to their spawn grounds I am thinking. Looks like it's river time!
    Tight lines!

    Your welcome Sir!
Went to Stubblefield this morning and the crappie were stacked up! 3' to 5' down EVERYWHERE! I caught so many this month that today was catch and release day. I wanted one more outing before I get my shoulder replaced next week. I'll be out of commission for about 3-4 months to heal but will be good as new to get my thump on after the spawn! Tight lines!

Glad to hear, my luck ran out today on those crappie. 1097 was empty of people and fish. I looked around every piling on that bridge. The fish I did catch were actually nice sized black bass. Someone lied about the wind though, definitely not calm winds on this end of the lake white capping when I left! Better than staying at home.
