Thread: Crappies over X-mas

Howdy y'all,

I'll be in the DFW area over x-mas and was looking to do a little spec hunting. Problem is, I won't have a boat. I've read in past post that some of the creeks produce pretty well around this time of year down there but I don't know if that is still the case? Or are they're lakes in the area with access to fish around docks or other structure? I'm not looking for specific secret spots or anything like that just a little general guidance on where to begin. I'll be down there for a whole week with plenty of time on my hands and don't want to spend the WHOLE TIME with the in-laws.

Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

sorry we didn't get to hook up last visit bro ....I got an idea or 2 over near ft worth ....a couple of docks over here have a bit of a bite going on ...text me later on today and lets try to firm up a plan maybe ....the creek spot I know is pretty tough to ketch in right now due to heavy pressure from the locals
