    When I went back when it was considered to be one of the best bass lakes ....don't know about now ....but it's a great fishery ........and it had lots a turtles .....lol

    Absolutely there is all of that and more, lol! Even got to see a huge Alligator Snapping Turtle a few years back. He just came up to the surface and was just sitting on top the water with all his ridges sticking out. Not sure just how big, but he was really big! We do indeed have some gators and some big ones at that. For me one of the cool things here is we are right in the middle of the central flyway so we get all kind of birds coming though here which I do enjoy very much and love trying to get great pictures of them. Have so many squirrels it's just crazy so yes I even get a good picture of one of them every once in a while, lol!

    Then of course in these Forrest we have deer, two mountain lions, wolves, fox, pigs and many other animals!

    Don't mean to offend anyone but me and my fishing buddies refer to bass as green carp. For us it is walleye and salmon up north and crappie, redfish, and speckled trout down south
