RetiredRR is right, the Texas fishing forum is where most of the crappie fishing in Texas is talked about. I read it pretty regular (and post some) but I like this better also, especially the panfish section. I like reading about the fishing from all over the country and seeing the pictures from other places. That guy ledhed from California is driving me crazy with the bream he is catching. And without stepping on anybody on the other forum, there is a lot more advice on crappie.com and a whole lot of just chatter on the other one. (No offense to anyone over there.)

I have been on both boards for a pretty long time now and have pretty much stop posting at all on the crappie board at TFF and only post some on the Jig tying board. Use to be very active over there, but just got tired of all the BS and cliquish activity. When I was starting out tying it was very hard to get anyone to even look at your jigs if not one of their friends and back then only a couple of us tying at all. Didn't matter if your jigs were actually tied better and looked better, you had to be their friend! I have a few friends over there and just spend most of my time here. Have always enjoyed it here and the people are so much friendlier where over there it can get pretty dicy pretty quick! Also your right, when it comes to info and help this place is so much better!
