Welcome aboard!
Lake Placid is at Sequin. It is a Guadalupe River lake Dunlap and others down stream from Canyon Lake. Canyon is producing some good crappie right now. My clients had two 14" white crappie on Friday and we brought in 34. Saturday also produced some big ones but not as many, but there were not as many fishing and inexperienced.
Welcome to Texas and I'm glad your settled in.

Welcome to Texas! If you happen to go East a good bit let me know. I live on Toledo Bend which is all the way to the East Border so it's a ways. Good luck on the lakes around there, but I don't know much about them. Now if you ever decide to jump on the Salt Water deal, it's very good over on the coast from you. I use to live in Ingleside for about 11 years and the fishing was amazing!
