    Default Lake Austin Crappie

I'm a week late but here we go. I fished Lake Austin with a return client (Earnie) and a new client (Steve). Conditions were perfect.....well. maybe too perfect. It was prefrontal overcast withe pressure low and just a slight breeze. Water temp was 75 degrees. We fished in brushpiles in 15 - 24 FOW ~ With jigs and minnows. Ended the day with a mixed bag of white and black (8)crappie up to 14 inches, a yellow cat around 6 lbs. and a big ol bluegill.

It was a great day on the water with these two. There were a lot of stories told while eating my deer dry sausage and jerky I make here at my house. Here are a few pics.

Looks like a calm day considering the overcast skies. Well done! Sounds like you had fun.
