I can tell you that Somerville is on again. The crappie have moved to the brush piles and are done spawning for the most part. I was catching plenty at 10-12 foot down in 15-20 foot of water. They were hitting electric chicken jigs and minnows equally. Lite bite so better to jig. Caught more on jig that way. Water is not too high. Only a foot high right now. Should be easy to catch a limit.

Caught 12 keepers Saturday on Granger. enough for me and partner Zachary to come in 2nd in local city tourney. Live bait and jigs in 8' water off of brush piles. Tied a jig with white head and body with chartreuse tail that worked real well.

It's over here as well I am afraid, but Sunday morning I did manage to find some in 16' of water around the Hydrilla and caught some trolling my little 1/32 Oz Roadrunners. Neighbor wanted to go get some bass so we wasted too much time doing that and we didn't even get on the water until 9AM and back home at Noon, but did get enough to clean.

Wish I had more time to fish. . looks like nice weather this weekend, but already committed to repair steps at church Saturday.
