    Default Somerville 12-21-2014

Went to Lake Somerville today in hopes of finding a few. They were hard to find. Deep, about 13 ft in 17 fow around structure. Would only hit small 1/16 or smaller jigs black/char tipped with minnow. Only managed to catch one keeper and one catfish after 3 hours. Lots of baitfish but no crappie around them. Sorry no pics. I was frustrated that they were hiding from me. Will try again when the water cools off more. Temp was 57.6.

Take a look at the two new pictures I posted today on my site for a guy that has been doing really well and I am pretty sure he's fishing Summerville too. Look on bottom right side of the page I will link below.

Yeah, I saw him out there that morning. I was set up fishing with my green LED's around my boat and he came up and parked about 10 feet from me with his green LED lights on. He only caught one more than me when I was there. I pulled out when everyone else started showing up and getting as close to my boat as they could...I guess they thought I was on the prime spot...go figure. I left and went trolling and hitting structure along the drop offs. Could see them but they would not bite anything I threw at them.

Sometime they just will not hit and I can't imagine anyone not having that experiance more than one time, LOL! Maybe next time! I don't think he can speak English either.

He speaks a little English. We talked about the depth they were hitting. He seemed to be a nice guy.

He has someone else always call or text me and I tie what ever he wants Hopfully. Sometimes out discriptions don't always match up. He does seem to be a nice guy! All I kmow is he is catching a good many fish and calls or text me often.
glad to hear he's nice on the water as well!
if you need to know color combos he's using send me a PM.
