New to the forum here . . . just found this site. I live near Lake Houston (Atascocita area). Have done quite a bit of crappie fishing in this lake the last 3-4 years. Things have been kinda slow so far this spring, but I look for the shallow water bite to turn on at anytime. Water has been muddy the last few weeks with all the runoff, especially up in the East Fork area. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for the second half of March.
