    Default caddo and LOP

Fished both lakes this weekend. Have to call caddo bite slow, but to be honest we spent a good bit of the time site seein and bass fishin. Did pretty well a LOP on Crappie. Caught a little of everything though. Was fishin shallow (3-6ft) north of 155 bridge and couldn't keep the bowfin off the shiners, man they put up a fun fight. Caught two cats on blue ice jigs, yeh, go figure. Had a blast Name: IMG_1807.jpg

After fishin south end of the lake all winter, I had to check out the other end. Wife loves to fish for lunker bass and the 155 bridge area is the place for that. The coves northeast of the bridge hold alot of Crappie in spring and were pretty active this weekend.

Nice catch, Marc. Me and my brother-in-law caught 12 slabs on Caddo this past Saturday. They were really nice fish, just kind of slow. Those grinnel sure are fun, but they will sure ruin some tackle though.

Yeh, they tore up a little tackle for sure but was worth it, got plum excitin a couple a times. they fight like a fish 3 times there size. Sounds like you had better luck than me on Caddo. We did friday and Saturday there but took the wife site seein a good bit so really can't blame it on slow fishin. Great weekend all and all. Got crappie.com stickers on the boat now so keep your eye out and hollar

What is the pattern to fish on caddo now? Shallow in main river or in open in trees?
