Default Gene Larew and Rat-L-Trap Press Camp part 2

Gene Larew Lures brought many new products, along with some of their tried and true plastics. These baits put the Bass in Bass Fishing! Just seeing their Pro Staff bring in some really nice Bass out of Fort Gibson as well as some of the Small Mouth and Spotted Bass out of Tenkiller was way cool. Gene Larew Lures actually cooks salt into their plastics vs. others that just shake it over theirs. This itself is a game changer in giving their customers a better chance of landing more fish as not only the sight and action of their plastics attract the fish, but the flavor can garner the hardest of hits.Top that off with a dab of their Biffle Bug Juice and you're dropping an unsuspected bomb on the fish. So get ready to feel the explosion you've just created by using these baits! Gene Larew Lures

Chris Lindenberg is President of Gene Larew Lures and is all about helping the angler catch more fish. They do not have company reps making their sales to tackle outlets but prefer to do so one on one. The way he explained how he does business made me realize how sincere he was in wanting to provide his customers with the best products possible to help the average angler be more productive. He definitely puts the human touch into his baits.

Jacob Wheeler is one of the Pros on the Larew Team of Professionals. Larew signs young million-dollar winner Jacob Wheeler to pro staff | Gene Larew Lures From what I understand, this young man approached Larew about designing a new, versatile Punch Out Bait. It's a Crawdad that can be used in a multitude of ways. I've detached the first one but you can fish it as one solid bait to start with and make adjustments as needed. Name: Punch Out Craw.jpg

Size: 45.7 KB Jacob flipped these into an aquarium that was set up showing just how this bait reacts, shoot, I almost went up there and ate it myself! Jacob also likes to chase Crappie from time to time and I had the pleasure of joining him for a couple of hours. Scanning a particular area, we came across a nice hump holding a big school of fish. We were dealing with 25 mph winds. Jacob dropped the TM and tossed out a 1/4oz chartreuse jig with a chartreuse Bobby Garland plastic on it. On his first cast, he hooked about a 2# White Bass. We stayed on them fighting the wind as I watched him boat roughly 12-15 in the 2-2.5# range. Yours truly got two bumps with no fish, (story of my life). I watched the kid work and he's definitely a Pro! These plastics, along with the Tommy Biffle Hardhead jigs (the head swivels), toss in a glass rattle and slop some Biffle Bug Juice on them and your sure to have a great day on the water.
