Default Four more days of fishing

If it rains the rest of the week like they say and figuring Sunday is always taken that leaves me Mon-Thurs to get all the fishing in I can. They told us today the right knee is destroyed and it has to be replaced. So next Thurs is my last day of fishing for approx 3 months they say. I might sneak off after 2 but time will tell. And this has been my best year here on Tellico.

    God Bless

Sorry to hear about the knee...I know a lot of people who have had the surgery and they always say after it's all over, they feel better than they have in years!!! I hope and pray the same great results for you. Hope you catch a bunch of them next week before you head to the hospital.

Yea, Oldwun, I don't how old you are, but my Mother had total knee replacement, @ 75, and other than about 3 maybe 4 weeks she was back to driving around, albeit she was using a cane for a little while longer. You shouldn't be off too awful long. But if you want to live up to your handle, then play along for the entire 3 months.

Hopefully you be back fishing shortly.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

I am 71 and I hear from everyone that 3 months is for the total recovery. I am looking forward to having this done then I will have some part of this old body that will still work. Once I can get in and ourt of the boat I will be happy. thanks for all your support

One of my bosses where I work had both knees replaced. Says they feel better than they ever have. I pray that all goes well for you too. You will be up and around before you know it.

    Default knee replacement

Hey Old one.....I am 69 and need both of my knees replaced so I will be waiting to hear how you get along. Keep us posted....I will be praying for a quick recovery for you....May GOD bless and keep you safe thru the entire thing...
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
