    Default First T.A.R.P. Crappie

Me and Crappietime got out and fought the 17 mph winds and barometer at 30.29. We ended up w/ 4 crappie, a bass, and a bluegill fishing over by Hong Kong Island. We were "fine tuning" our slow trolling technique in 15 ft of water when we came across some guys leaving their spot because they limited out. Right after they left....BAM! She went about 15.25 inches long and 11 inches girth.

Bubba thought I was exaggerating again when I told him to get the net..

All fish were caught tight lining with minnows.

Note to self.....axe the double hook rig.

Thanks Sow we aint got the buddy seat on the front yet.So we had to take turns playing boat boy.I was working on a rod and then he hollars "Bubba Bubba BUBBA get the net"He said we got a hog on.I being the smartbutt I am told him to get his on net I was untangling one of the rods he messed up.But oh well a day on the water with wind or no wind fish or no fish is great as long as you are having fun.And when we are on the water we have fun if it is at our expense or someone elses.

    Nice Slab!

I'm beginning to think like Cane Pole. You shoulda seen me trying to go over the side with one foot on the tm pedal (with the tm on 5 power) today. Don't know why I didn't just get the coffee can out... Must've took the pic at home, no way you took money out of your pocket in the wind today.
