Prayer works

A few weeks ago I asked the board to pray for a young student athlete that was diagnosed with cancer. The thread received a lot of comments about how each would pray and also ask people at their churches to pray. Just wanted to give you an update about the young man to show you how powerful prayer is. He recently had a PET scan and found that the chemotherapy has removed all the cancer from his body. He will be finishing up his 5th round of chemo and will be coming home sometime in January. I have been a member of this board for a few years and enjoy being a part of a group of people that are so compassionate. Thank you for the prayers and continue to pray. For this young man it has worked.

Like speck said prayer doers work. Mine have been answered many times. Sometimes not with the answer I wanted. My faith tells me to stand firm and things will be alright. I believe that.

We got the news on the prayer chain just hadn't posted it yet. I spoke to his grandmother @ a sundayschool she said they were so very thankfull for all the concerns and the prayers that had been sent

No doubt about it works for me I`ve seen prayers answer all the time. We will keep him in our prayers.
