Ron, It's a tough crappie lake. June will make it tougher IMO, so with that said check out a couple of islands right out from Lillydale camp grounds. There is grass flats that are on the South side of the islands, and I've caught crappie out of there. That time of year you'll probably see people trolling for Eyes in this same area early in the morning and late at night. Hopefully you'll have a boat! You didn't mention if you'll have one with you or not. You'll quickly learn that at that time of year, you'll probably have to go deep. Might I suggest a guide? Dennis Bowers guides Dale Hollow for crappie, and I've used him, and he is a great guy to fish with! He has a web page, check him out at http://www.dalehollowcrappie.4t.com/. He's really family friendly too! Good luck!:D

Smile finally made it to dale hollow

hey Dennis we made to Dale Hollow yesterday. We launched the boat and went for a ride. What a beautiful area. after we ate a picnic dinner on the boat we dropped in a few lines, we caught one crappie near the Island across from Lillydale. If you can give us a few pointers we would really appreciate it. I do have cell service although its dead right now and I have it charging let me know a number and I will call. Thanks Ron
